Vijay’s fee for ‘Jana Nayagan’ revealed : June 26, 2025
According to reports,Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay received one of the largest salaries in Indian cinema—a staggering ₹275 crore—for his upcoming film,Jana Nayagan.
H Vinoth is directing the movie, which also stars Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde.
Business Today broke the story first,claiming that the sum is an upfront payment with no profit-sharing from the film’s box office receipts.

Vijay’s final movie and his political ambitions
It is unconfirmed that Vijay received approximately ₹200 crore for his final movie,The Greatest Of All Time.
The upcoming movie,which is reportedly his final one,will feature him in a political action drama. However, co-star Mamitha Baiju stated that his movie career is allegedly dependent on the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
As a nod to his political party, his role in the film is anticipated to be called Thalapathy Vetri Kondan (TVK).
