Today’s market: Nifty 50 to global trends : May 22, 2025
Stock Market Today: The benchmark Nifty-50 index ended 0.52 per cent higher at 24,813.45 on Wednesday, providing a breather after a few days of losing streak. Bank Nifty also ended 0.32 per cent higher at 55,075.10. Most indices, with the exception of Consumer durables, ended with gains, led by Realty and Pharma. The broader indices also rebounded by 0.78%.
Thursday’s Trade Setup :
As long as the Nifty 50 Index remains below 25,000,sentiment is probably going to continue sideways to pessimistic. Rupak De,Senior Technical Analyst at LKP Securities,stated that if it regains the 25,000 mark,sentiment would shift to one of optimism and short bets will become less attractive.
According to Bajaj Broking,the key support for the Bank Nifty is between 54,000 and 53,500.

With the help of strong domestic macroeconomic data,respectable corporate profits,and the likelihood of an above-normal monsoon this year,we anticipate that markets will continue to hold steady going forward.
