‘Jaat‘ by Sunny Deol has slowed down at the box office, but it is still in the running. The movie is gradually approaching the Rs 100 crore barrier, but it would be intriguing to watch how long it takes to reach that milestone.
‘Jaat’,starring Sunny Deol,is gradually approaching the Rs 100 crore nett box office milestone. The movie has made close to Rs 80 crore nett after 13 days of release. According to the trade website Sacnilk,the Gopichand Malineni-directed film brought in Rs 2 crore nett on its second Tuesday,bringing its total earnings to Rs 78.25 crore nett.

The second week has seen a noticeable decline in “Jaat”‘s collecting. But given that “Kesari Chapter 2″ debuted last weekend and swept the theaters with rave reviews,that was to be anticipated.

On Sunday,the Akshay Kumar film made Rs 12 crore nett,showing significant traction. On its first Monday,however,the receipts fell to almost half. The movie made the same amount of money on Tuesday as it did on Monday. The movie has made about Rs 38.75 crore nett after five days at the box office.
Jaat and Kesari 2 now have two more days to play without interruption. The successful run of the two current films at the box office will be further hampered by the arrival of Emraan Hashmi’s Ground Zero and Pratik Gandhi’s Phule this weekend.
It remains to be seen how ‘Jaat’ will surpass the Rs 100 crore mark from this point on.
