1. The nation’s capital is on high alert right now. The air raid sirens erected at PWD HQ, ITO, will be tested by the Directorate of Civil Defense on Friday. The Central Delhi district magistrate stated in an official statement that the testing will start at 3 PM and last for 15 to 20 minutes. As a result, it is asked that sufficient exposure be distributed via electronic and social media to encourage the people to maintain composure and avoid panicking during the aforementioned exercise.
According to PTI,guests at the famous war memorial,India Gate,were urged to leave and vacate the area earlier on Thursday. “This is a common procedure to maintain traffic flow in the C Hexagon. It has nothing new. “Anyone can come and see it tomorrow,”said Devesh Mahala,the Deputy Commissioner for New Delhi. “Police will remain vigilant and engaged. Vigil at night has been stepped up. 3. Pakistan said Friday that Indian media accusations that it had struck several locations in India were “entirely unfounded” and part of a “reckless propaganda campaign.” In a statement released at midnight,the Foreign Office stated that such acts only put regional peace at greater risk.

In the meanwhile,Amritsar DPRO instructed all residents to remain inside,away from windows,with window curtains drawn and lights off. “Don’t panic; a siren will sound shortly,and once it is clear,we will relay the message once more. We must stay home to assist our armed forces when they are on duty. “Don’t panic, the Amritsar DPRO stated.
5. A defense ministry spokesperson told PTI that “Pakistani-origin drones and missiles targeted military stations at Jammu,Pathankot,and Udhampur along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir today.” According to military sources who spoke to PTI,India’s air defense systems stopped missiles from Pakistan that were also aimed toward the cities of Satwari,Samba,RS Pura,and Arnia in Jammu.

6. “During a massive counter-drone operation carried out by Indian Army Air Defence units in the areas of Udhampur,Samba,Jammu,Akhnoor,Nagrota,and Pathankot,over 50 drones were successfully neutralized yesterday evening after Pakistan made unsuccessful attempts to send swarm drones throughout various locations along the Line of Control (LoC) and International Borders (IB).” The Army’s strong capacity to fight aerial threats was demonstrated by the battle, which made substantial use of L-70 guns, Zu-23mm, Schilka systems, and other cutting-edge counter-UAS weapons, sources informed ANI.

Vice President J D Vance stated in a TV interview on Thursday that although the US cannot control India and Pakistan, it may encourage the two neighbors with nuclear weapons to de-escalate, according to PTI.
