A woman who had a rhinoplasty for ₹9.1 lakh had the courage to leave her bad marriage and embrace her newfound joy and confidence.

 

After having a rhinoplasty to help her get over her “biggest insecurity,” Philadelphia lady Devyn Aiken, 30, changed her life. According to the New York Post,the ₹9.1 lakh ($11,000) surgery she had in November not only improved her beauty but also gave her the confidence to leave a seven-year marriage that no longer fulfilled her.

Aiken told The Post,”I feel really sexy.“I chose to choose myself and end my miserable marriage because of my new nose.”

Her choice to have the operation changed her life. She filed for divorce in December,shortly after the procedure. A video of her makeover has since received over 4.5 million views on TikTok,with many fans complimenting her gorgeous new appearance.

She spoke of the “glow up” that accompanied the surgery and her newfound independence, saying, “I wake up and feel so much happier.” “I get to feel this way for the rest of my life.”

Trauma in childhood :
Because of her large nose, Aiken was constantly teased as a child by her peers, who called her names like “witch,” toucan, and Pinocchio. After years of struggling with poor self-esteem,she married at the age of 23 without really knowing her spouse.

She acknowledged,We realized we didn’t really know each other that well and we got married too soon. She claimed that even though her ex-husband admired her original nose,they frequently disagreed and were at odds.

The pivotal moment occurred when she decided to have Philadelphia-based plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Ginsburg do the procedure. One of the most significant events in her life was the approximately six-hour procedure.
