Why Ronaldo’s Al Nassr missed Club World Cup 2025

Cristiano Ronaldo, the leading scorer in the Saudi Pro League, is still on fire at the age of 40 with Al Nassr. Al-Hilal,however,has snuck it for themselves, and his squad will not be participating in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s incredible career, marked by numerous major trophies, solidifies his place among football’s greatest players. His exceptional accomplishment at Al Nassr exemplifies his continued success and commitment to greatness,as does his extraordinary longevity and skill.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still a successful football player at the age of forty. His outstanding 2024–25 season with Al Nassr,in which he led the Saudi Pro League in goals,is proof that he plays at a high level every game.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr will not be competing in the extended 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the USA,despite Real Madrid,Manchester City, and Chelsea being among the best teams. Ronaldo will therefore be unable to contend for this freshly extended title.

Al Nassr will not compete in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup,even though it will now have 32 teams. As the Saudi Pro League winners from the previous season,Al-Hilal earned the only Saudi club qualifying slot.

Teams that won their national leagues or continental championships were given priority under FIFA’s strict qualifying requirements. Al Nassr’s chances of qualifying were greatly diminished by their failure in the AFC Champions League and Saudi Pro League.

With a lineup full of elite players like Kalidou Koulibaly and Ruben Neves, and under the management of Jorge Jesus,Al-Hilal dominated the 2023–24 season, winning the championship by a commanding 14 points and being undefeated the entire time. Al Nassr, which featured Cristiano Ronaldo, took second place.

Al Nassr’s chances of attending the 2029 Club World Cup are slim. Even though they have a strong attacking squad, they are not playing up to par this season and are far behind Al-Ittihad. The squad needs to make major progress if it hopes to compete at the international level in the future.
