When tensions over the US-China trade war eased,gold prices fell globally as well.
As negotiations continue to finalize a mutual agreement, the United States and China have agreed to reduce tariffs by 115 percentage points on each other to 30 percent and 10 percent, respectively, for 90 days.
According to Reuters, US President Donald Trump stated Monday that he does not anticipate tariffs on Chinese goods going back to 145% following the 90-day truce and that he thinks a deal will be reached between Washington and Beijing.
In the meantime,India’s and the US’s inflation trends are improving.
