Despite receiving mediocre reviews,Raid 2 made Rs 19.25 crore on its first day of release,which was almost Rs 9 crore more than its predecessor’s opening-day haul. However,according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk,the murder thriller only made Rs 11.75 crore on day two,a drop of roughly 38.96%.This brings the movie’s total domestic receipts to Rs 31 crore.

Similar patterns were seen when Ajay Devgn’s multi-starrer film Singham Again (2024) was released. It started at Rs 43.5 crore but made Rs 42.5 crore on day two and Rs 35.75 crore on day three, just breaking even with a lifetime global box office total of Rs 372.4 crore. A reported budget of Rs 375 crore was used to make it.
