The India-led probe was aided by the deployment of both American and British investigative teams. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that a UK investigative team had been sent, and the US National Transportation Safety Board said it would deploy investigators to help their Indian counterparts.
However, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has increased the number of teams assigned to the crash scene to seven as part of its stepped-up emergency response. According to NDRF Inspector Vinay Kumar,81 dead had been found in the wreckage as of Friday morning.
An Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick crashed 33 seconds after takeoff on Thursday,crashing into a nearby medical college hostel and killing at least 260 people.

Shah gave the concerned officials the required directions during this meeting after reviewing the rescue and relief efforts. Additionally attending the meeting were Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu,Union Minister of State (MoS) Muralidhar Mohol,Union Minister CR Patil,and Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel.
Shah added that the government would provide full support for everything from the safe return of dead remains to their respective homes to the identification of the deceased and their families,including the gathering of DNA samples.
