Khwaja Asif,Pakistan’s defense minister,asserted that the nation is unrelated to the terror assault in Pahalgam.

 

In the afternoon of April 22,terrorists opened fire in Pahalgam,Jammu and Kashmir,killing 26 innocent people,primarily tourists. Children,couples,and families just looking for a little happiness are among the victims.

The terrorist incident sparked a variety of responses from India’s neighbors,including Pakistan,Bangladesh,China,and Sri Lanka. The Resistance Front,a shadow organization of the outlawed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has claimed responsibility for the attack.

 

Countries responded as follows: Pakistan
On Wednesday,Pakistan expressed its “concernedness at the loss of tourists’ lives” in the terrorist assault that occurred in Pahalgam,Jammu and Kashmir,on Tuesday,April 22.

“We are concerned at the loss of tourists’ lives in an attack in Anantnag district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” FO Spokesperson Shafqat Khan said in a statement in response to questions from the media on the attack.

Khwaja Asif, Pakistan’s minister of defense, asserted that the nation is not involved in the event. However, Pakistan’s denial does not persuade Indian officials.

 

 

China :
The attack on tourists in Pahalgam,Jammu and Kashmir,on Wednesday sparked astonishment and “sincere sympathies” from China’s foreign minister.

According to Guo Jiakun, a spokeswoman for the foreign ministry, China “strongly condemns this attack” and “we mourn the victims and extend our sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and the injured,” as reported by the AFP.

Muhammad Yunus, the country’s chief advisor, strongly denounced the terror strike.

“Message from Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Kashmir incident: “Excellency, I would like to express my sincere sympathies for the deaths caused by the terrorist incident in Pahalgam, Kashmir. This horrible deed is widely condemned. Allow me to reiterate Bangladesh’s unwavering opposition to terrorism.

A statement regarding the Pahalgam Terror incident was also released by Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The terror assault in India’s Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of innocent people, is severely condemned by Bangladesh. Bangladesh offers its sincere sympathies to everyone impacted by this senseless act of violence, including the victims’ families. The statement added, “Bangladesh reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the global fight against terrorism.”

Sri Lanka :
The president of Sri Lanka expressed sympathy with India and reaffirmed the country’s support for its neighbors during this difficult period.

“The terrible terrorist assault in India is something I strongly deplore. The victims and their families are in our thoughts and prayers. The statement said, “Sri Lanka is always in solidarity with the people of India.”

Nepal :
KP Sharma Oli, the prime minister of Nepal, phoned to PM Modi and expressed his sympathies for the incident.

“I spoke with Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and expressed my sincere condolences on the loss of lives in the Pahalgam terrorist attack,”he wrote in a post on X. reaffirmed Nepal’s unwavering support for India in the face of such horrible deeds. I appreciate his sincere sympathies for the death of a citizen of Nepal.

Indonesia :
The horrific assault was also denounced by Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The horrific terrorist attack against people in Pahalgam is strongly condemned by Indonesia. They added in a statement that “such a horrible crime is not justifiable regardless of their motivations,whenever,wherever,and by whom they committed it.”

“Our deepest condolences and sympathy go to the families of the victims, and we wish a speedy recovery for all those injured,” it continued.

In a social media message, Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay expressed his sympathies to the victims and other impacted parties of the “horrific terrorist attack” that occurred in Pahalgam.

He declared, “Bhutan firmly stands with the Government & people of India in solidarity & friendship & strongly condemns such brutal acts of terror.”
