Mukesh Ambani took a holy plunge at Triveni Sangam on February 11 while in Prayagraj with his family for the Maha Kumbh Mela.
Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, went to Prayagraj with his family on Tuesday, February 11, to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela.
At the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati converge, the Ambani family took a sacred plunge.
Mother Kokilabaen Ambani, sons Akash and Anant Ambani, daughter-in-laws Shloka and Radhika, and grandchildren Prithvi and Veda were all with Mukesh Ambani.
The Ambanis wore traditional attire. Akash Ambani was spotted wearing a multicolored kurta, while Mukesh and Anant Ambani were dressed in matching blue kurta pyjamas. Prithvi and Veda were seen wearing matching teal costumes, while Shloka Mehta was dressed in a white Anarkali suit.
Before Magh Purnima, which signifies the conclusion of the month-long Magha Snan, or ritual bathing, the Ambani family took a sacred dip in the Triveni Sangam.
Anil Ambani, the younger brother of Mukesh Ambani, and his wife Tina Ambani, a former actor, traveled to Prayagraj in January to attend the Maha Kumbh festival.
Other Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 leaders
The Ambani family has joined the ranks of prominent leaders who have participated in the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela.
During Mahakumbh 2025, President Droupadi Murmu took a sacred dip at Triveni Sangam on February 10. President Murmu prayed at Triveni Sangam after taking the sacred dip.
At 11 a.m. on February 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Prayagraj to attend the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela and took a sacred bath at the Sangam. With special security measures in place, especially in the Arail area, the authorities declared a high alert in the city.
Gautam Adani, the chairman of the Adani Group, performed Seva and offered Ganga Puja at the Maha Kumbh Mela on January 21. At the Mahakumbh Mela, Adani also went to the ISKCON Temple camp.
At the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, the Adani Group and ISKCON worked together to provide food to devotees. The dates of the Mahaprasad Seva are January 13–February 26.
About 2025’s Maha Kumbh Mela
Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj is hosting the Mahakumbh Mela in 2025. Every twelve years, it is one of the world’s largest religious gatherings. On January 14, Makar Sankranti, the bathing rituals known as the Shahi were performed. At Mauni Amavasya on January 29 and Basant Panchami on February 3, additional bathing customs were observed.
