April 2025 Stock Market Holidays :
The Indian stock market will be closed on April 10 in observance of Mahavir Jayanti 2025, according to the stock market holidays list. As a result, there won’t be any equities market activity today.
Investors can visit the BSE website, bseindia.com, and select the “Trading Holidays” option at the top to view the stock market holiday list for 2025. You can view the list of stock market holidays for 2025 by selecting the Trading Holidays option.
Three stock market holidays are included in the April trading holiday list. The dates of these three stock market holidays are Good Friday,April 18,2025; Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti, April 14, 2025; and Shri Mahavir Jayanti, April 10, 2025. This indicates that today, April 10, 2025, the Indian stock market will stay closed. Trading will therefore continue to be suspended on Thursday on both the NSE and the BSE.
Today, the SLB, Currency Derivatives, Equity, and Equity Derivatives segments will all stay closed.
In the meanwhile, the Commodity Derivatives Segment will be open in the evening but closed in the morning. The morning session runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, according to the MCX. At 5:00 PM, the evening session begins, and it ends at 11:30 or 11:55 PM.
