Among the things that contributed to the catastrophe were hurried preparations, inadequate planning, and an overwhelming influx of admirers. There have been concerns expressed regarding the state government’s choice to host a reception at the Vidhana Soudha, where the team was congratulated by Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. The two locations,Vidhana Soudha and Chinnaswamy Stadium, presented a significant obstacle: a large number of security guards had to be stationed in the Assembly complex because of the VIP presence there. As a result, thousands of spectators were tackled by a small number of police officers at the Chinnaswamy stadium. The stadium can hold about 35,000 people, but more over 3 lakh people showed there.

Actually, citing significant security concerns, Bengaluru police had denied permission for a victory parade. Nevertheless, the team organizers and the Karnataka State Cricket Association proceeded.Despite warnings and cautions, RCB offered free passes and confirmed a victory parade at 3:14 pm. Because it was unclear how admission would be granted, this resulted in a huge influx of supporters at the stadium. Chaos reigned when word got out that it would be on a first-come, first-served basis. Some pushed barricades, while others tried to scale gates. Some others stumbled in the crowd and collapsed as security guards fought to keep the situation under control.

At a press conference, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah pledged free medical care for injured people and compensation for the relatives of the deceased amid criticism over insufficient preparedness.

Such instances occurred in numerous locations. Now,I won’t excuse this by comparing it to them and claiming that it happens occasionally. I didn’t criticize the 50–60 deaths that occurred during the Kumbh Mela. It is a different story if Congress criticizes. He questioned,”Did I or the Karnataka government criticize?”

BJP veteran Pralhad Joshi responded sharply to the statement. Mr. Joshi criticized the state government, saying that it cannot avoid accountability by using analogies. This cannot be compared to Kumbh. Why did you force the cops to grant you permission when they refused? My second query for Siddaramaiah is: do you still celebrate after the deaths? Why did DK Shivakumar, the Deputy Chief Minister, travel to meet them? Nobody cares about what has happened to the average person because they are too busy taking selfies.

According to him,the Kumbh tragedy was handled delicately. “There were no selfies being taken. A court investigation must be carried out. The government must respond. Mr. Joshi blasted the state government, saying,This is absolutely unacceptable.
