After only three years,Cristiano Ronaldo and Rafael Nadal’s joint venture abruptly closed.
The greatest football player of all time and tennis superstar had a combined investment in a restaurant, according to The Sun,one of the sportsmen’s largest economic alliances.
In 2022,Ronaldo and Nadal partnered to open the Italian eatery Toto in Madrid. Without making an official announcement, the restaurant “closed permanently” in 2025.
The Spanish tennis player formed the Tatel Group, which included the restaurant that opened its doors in March of three years ago.Ronaldo is one of the company’s well-known investors, along with Spanish basketball players Rudy Fernandez and Pau Gasol.
According to El Espanol, the Madrid restaurant is currently listed on Google as permanently closed, although its locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are still open.
Because of the TS carbonara dish Vera Carbonara de Totó, which became so well-known that customers ordered it 250 times a week,Toto gained popularity.
Toto was notably a component of Ronaldo’s extensive business empire, which includes a lifestyle brand, gyms, hair transplant clinics, and apparel. Additionally, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner boasts a YouTube channel with almost 74.1 million subscribers, setting a new record.
