Nifty, Sensex: What to expect in trade on April 30
Today’s Nifty 50 and Sensex: The Gift Nifty indicators also point to a poor start for the Indian benchmark market. The Gift Nifty was trading at a discount of around 50 points from the previous closing of the Nifty futures,at about 24,375.
Following conflicting signals from international markets, the key Indian stock market indices, the Sensex and Nifty 50, are probably going to open modestly on Wednesday.
Additionally, the Gift Nifty trends show that the Indian benchmark index is off to a bad start. The Gift Nifty was trading at a discount of around 50 points from the previous closing of the Nifty futures, at about 24,375.
Tuesday’s volatile session ended flat for the local equities market indices, with the benchmark Nifty 50 index remaining above the 24,300 mark.
The Nifty 50 closed 7.45 points, or 0.03%, higher at 24,335.95, while the Sensex increased 70.01 points, or 0.09%, to close at 80,288.38.
