The US-China trade negotiations are the other major trigger. According to the most recent reports, trade negotiations between the United States and China finished on a positive note. Chinese officials claimed that both parties had established “important consensus,” while US officials referred to it as a “deal” to lower the US trade deficit.
But as of yet,no formal announcement outlining the specifics has been made. Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng said a unified statement would be released later today, according to the most recent Reuters report.

Peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine could take place on May 15.
